• Pretty Pink Vibrant Zinnia Petals Pushing Through The Evening Sunset Garden Light.

Zinnia leaves are opposite and usually stalkless (sessile), with a shape ranging from linear to ovate, and pale to middle green in color. The flowers have a range of appearances, from a single row of petals to a dome shape, with the colors white, chartreuse, yellow, orange, red, purple, and lilac.

 • A row of multi-colored gerber daisies from the garden from a stem-up perspective.

Gerbera daisy flowers exhibit large (4") blooms with yellowish central disks surrounded by colorful rays. The rays are most commonly yellow, red or orange. However, growers have also produced varieties in white, pink and violet. Gerbera daisy flowers reach a little over one foot in height, with a width slightly less than that.

Whether you are growing gerbera daisies as perennials or as annuals, water them faithfully; and fertilize regularly for optimal blooming. Gerbera daisy flowers are susceptible to crown rot, so don't plant them too deeply. They are also susceptible to powdery mildew, so avoid overhead watering; and water the plants early in the day. Plants bought at the florist should be introduced only gradually to direct sunlight outdoors; otherwise, they'll wilt.

 • In a realm where dreams and reality intertwine, there existed a hidden sanctuary known as the Fractal Gardens. This ethereal place flourished with an otherworldly beauty, where nature's secrets were unveiled through the enchanting intricacies of fractal geometry.

In this land of endless possibilities, the Fractal Gardens stood as a testament to the harmony between nature and mathematics. Vibrant flowers blossomed, their ethereal petals unfolding in breathtaking fractal patterns. The colors that adorned each petal seemed to defy the spectrum of the visible world, as if nature herself was revealing a new palette of hues.

Majestic trees towered above the landscape, their branches reaching towards the sky in fractal-inspired patterns. Their leaves glistened, each one a masterpiece of fractal division, reflecting the sunlight in a dazzling display of colors.

Wandering further, a murmuring brook revealed itself, its waters cascading in a mesmerizing rhythm. The fluid details of the water seemed to mimic the ever-changing complexity of fractal geometry. As it flowed over pebbles and rocks, the water painted vibrant patterns on the riverbed, whispering secrets only the attentive observer would hear.

To capture the essence of hyper-realism, the artist painstakingly detailed every aspect of the artwork. From the intricate fractal patterns on the flowers to the crisp edges of the towering trees, no element was overlooked. The final result was a mesmerizing display of nature's intricacies, rendered with unparalleled clarity.

In the presence of Gardens, viewers find themselves transported to a realm where the beauty of nature and the captivating allure of fractal geometry converge. It is an invitation to explore the depths of imagination, to be enchanted by the vivid colors, fluid details, hyper-realism, and sharp intricacies of this captivating masterpiece.

 • The longwing butterflies have unusually long lifespans and high fecundity rates, which largely result from their augmented diet. Instead of surviving on food stores from the larval stage or solely sipping flower nectar, adult longwing butterflies are avid pollen eaters. These trait make them eminently suitable for butterfly farming and butterfly gardening. Also, Adult Longwings may live for several months, much longer than most butterflies.

The longwing butterflies are also known as Heliconians. They are brightly colored butterflies with long forewings. Once placed in their own family, they are now considered closely related to the fritillaries. Larvae of most longwings feed on passion vines, and this host plant imparts noxious chemicals to the larvae which are carried over to the adult butterflies. This relationship is identical to the monarch butterflies' reliance on its host plant, milkweed, for defense. Predators find these chemicals distasteful and avoid eating the butterflies.

 • Once upon a time, in a distant land where dreams and reality melded seamlessly, there existed a secret haven hidden away from the busy world. Known only to a chosen few, this place was a sanctuary that harmoniously blended the wonders of nature with the mesmerizing intricacies of fractal geometry.

The journey to this hidden paradise was both thrilling and treacherous. Only those with an open mind and a sense of wanderlust could wander through the dense forests and traverse the winding rivers that guarded this enchanted place. Only by surrendering oneself to the power of imagination and a steadfast belief in the magical could one uncover its hidden gems.

Deep within this fantastical landscape, vibrant flora and fauna sprung up, each boasting intricate patterns and mesmerizing shapes. The flowers bloomed in a myriad of colors, their petals painted in the hues of the rainbow. Butterflies danced delicately through the air, their wings adorned with intricate fractal designs that resembled cascading patterns of interconnected geometry. Birds sung enchanting tunes, their feathers bearing stunning fractal arrangements that seemed to defy the laws of nature. Mighty trees stood tall, their branches stretching towards the heavens, adorned with leaves resembling intricate mathematical fractals.

As visitors explored this mystical realm, they marveled at the hyper-realism and crisp details of their surroundings. The vivid colors seemed almost too bold to be real, as if plucked from the wildest dreams. The fluid details of the landscapes mesmerized, drawing the viewer into a world simultaneously familiar and unknown. It was as if the artist had managed to bring the impossible to life.

As the sun began to set and the golden hues bathed the realm in a warm glow, visitors felt a sense of tranquility and contentment. In this haven, the meeting point of nature and fractal geometry, they discovered a harmonious balance between the tangible and the abstract.

 • The flowers in this arrangement were starting to wilt, and the petals were beginning to show signs of the last days coming. I wanted to get a descent shot of them, without conveying the age and wilted petals. My approach was to process the image to highlight these areas to covey some character and detail, instead of the appearance of decay.

 • The Greek myth of Orchis explains the origin of the plants. Orchis, the son of a nymph and a satyr, came upon a festival of Dionysios (Bacchus) in the forest. He drank too much, and attempted to rape a priestess of Dionysios. For his insult, he was torn apart by the Bacchanalians. His father prayed for him to be restored, but the gods instead changed him into a flower.
The monarch is famous for its southward migration and northward return in summer from Canada to Mexico and Baja California which spans the life of three to four generations of the butterfly

Monarchs are especially noted for their lengthy annual migration. In North America, they make massive southward migrations starting in August until the first frost. A northward migration takes place in the spring. The monarch is the only butterfly that migrates both north and south as the birds do on a regular basis, but no single individual makes the entire round trip. Female monarchs deposit eggs for the next generation during these migrations.

Monarch butterflies are poisonous or distasteful to birds and mammals because of the presence of the cardiac glycosides contained in milkweed consumed by the larvae. The bright colors of larvae and adults are thought to function as warning colors. During hibernation, monarch butterflies sometimes suffer losses because hungry birds pick through them looking for the butterflies with the least amount of poison, but in the process kill those they reject.

 • In the secluded realm of Nivalea there existed a creature of legend, the Auroral Ethereal Elk. It was said that this majestic being roamed the silent forests, its antlers casting a light so pure that it turned the darkness into a canvas of hope.

Once a century, as the celestial event known as the "Aurora's Veil" graced the heavens, the Ethereal Elk would emerge from the hidden folds of the mountainous horizon. Its arrival was a silent promise of renewal and enchantment for the land. It was during one such night that Aeliana, the guardian of the Nivalean gate, first witnessed the creature.

Aeliana, whose heart carried the weight of a hundred winters, had heard the tales of the Ethereal Elk from her grandmother. She never dared to believe them until that fateful evening when the sky burst into ethereal flames, and the Elk stepped into her world. Its eyes held the wisdom of the ages, and its presence was a melody that resonated with the soul of the earth.

With each step it took, the snow beneath its hooves glittered like stardust, and the icy blooms that peppered the landscape seemed to sing in a chorus only the pure of heart could hear. Aeliana followed the Elk as it tread lightly across the mirrored surface of the frozen lake, where the world below reflected the cosmic dance above.

The Ethereal Elk stopped at the heart of the lake and turned to face Aeliana with a gaze that pierced the veils of time. It bowed its head slightly, and from its antlers, a single shard of light fell into Aeliana's open palm. It was a fragment of the aurora itself, pulsating with life and warmth.

With the gift of the Auroral light, Aeliana felt the winters in her heart thaw. The Ethereal Elk had chosen her, a silent guardian no longer weary but awash with the magic of the Nivalean night. As the dawn approached and the colors faded, the Elk vanished as subtly as it had appeared. Aeliana returned to her post at the gate, her spirit forever entwined with the Ethereal Elk.
