While waiting patiently in the field, I spotted a dirty gopher peeking up from his hole. Moving slowly and quietly, I came closer to observe in detail until I could capture his essence in a photograph. The rich color tones, crisp details, and creamy bokeh provided the perfect backdrop for this little guy to shine.
