The Bavarian Smoke Haus opened in 1996 as an extension of Dan's County Meats, our USDA inspected facility. Dan's has been providing quality fresh and specialty meats in the New Melle area for generations.

Owners, Jim & Karen Joerling, have perfected a number of award winning smoked and specialty meats, including Bratwursts, Italian Sausage, Summer Sausage, Snack Stix, Five different Bacons and Smoked Hams.

Each recipe is the result of tried and true seasoning combinations and preparation practices that guarantee consistent, flavorful results each and every batch.
